Western Massachusetts Home Destroyed By Early Morning Fire: Officials

A house near the Massachusetts/Connecticut border is in shambles following an early morning fire this week, officials said. 

Crews in Hampden County responded to the fire at a home in the town of Holland at around 5:25 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, Holland Fire said in Twitter. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire coming from the back of the building.

The fire required additional help from several neighboring departments, Holland Fire added. The building was considered a total loss and no injuries were reported. 

The fire is under investigation.
